ODU 100
The Operator Display Unit (ODU) 100 can be installed in almost any location in the security technology thanks to its design and contains operating elements of an intruder alarm system (EMA) such as alarm, sabotage, hold-up, arming, disarming, key number etc.. Authentication is possible by entering a PIN or by means of a card reader. The two-line, backlit 16-digit display offers clear display options to ensure operation.
Digital transmission devices
The DS 7600 and DS 7700 digital transmission systems are transmission systems for hazard detection systems (GMA), remote parameterisation, remote operation and remote maintenance. The transmission of alarm and control information via IP and/ or ISDN is carried out in accordance with the relevant VdS specifications, which ensures compatibility with the receiving equipment. The fast and targeted transmission of detailed information reduces the response time of intervention personnel and thus hazards. This is ensured by comprehensive performance features.
Analogue diallers
The analogue transmission devices DS 6700 and DS 6750 are used for transmitting messages from hazard detection systems (DSS) via public and private communication networks and as an interface to remote system parts such as management systems that are connected via public or private networks. Remote parameterisation and remote maintenance are also possible, as are connections to security service providers via several standing and demand-controlled connections. Connections to different control centres can be established and maintained without interrupting existing connections.
External signal generator
In addition to silent alerting, the classic signaling devices take on important tasks. In an emergency, seconds count; direct alerting brings valuable time advantages and also has an important deterrent effect. Acoustic external signaling devices are used for local alarming in case of burglary, fire or robbery. To avoid failure or sabotage, two signaling devices are usually installed separately from each other.
Power supplies / chargers
Suitable mains and charging units are available for every application. Permanent battery monitoring, voltage stabilisation and current limitation ensure the respective function. Batteries used in the power supply must be tested and, if necessary, approved by the VdS. Regulations according to DIN VDE 0833-1 must be observed.
Display panel
To indicate various states, e.g. whether a door connected to the system is open or closed, so that a built-in buzzer can trigger the alarm if necessary. The LEDs in the panel can also be activated via the event control, e.g. if a window is still open after 8 p.m. (provided it is integrated into the system accordingly). If an intruder alarm system (EMA) is in use, staff can arm or disarm the system via the control panel.
Motion detector BUS connection technology
Viewguard PIR detectors: Motion detectors based on the passive infrared principle, equipped with high-quality mirror optics - surface optics as standard - for uninterrupted detection. Can be upgraded to line or curtain optics with additional accessories. Suitable for burglar alarm control panels with BUS-1 technology, conventional connection technology, with or without cover monitoring (anti-mask). Approval: VdS class B and class C.
Duo connection module
The DUO I/O module has the function of detector group and control modules. In addition, the module has 2 semiconductor outputs for any switching and control functions (max. 30 V DC / 50 mA per output).
Depending on the application, the voltage from the module or from an external voltage source can be used as the operating voltage for the external consumers.
Smoke detector base
Enables the detection of a fire in conjunction with a burglar alarm control panel. Particularly suitable for properties where there is no building law requirement for a fire alarm system (BMA), but where this seems sensible for the protection of people and valuables. The combination of base and fire detector enables use according to the property-specific characteristics of the fire load. The smoke detector base is designed to be installation-friendly and practical.
Contacts
- Built-in/ surface-mounted magnetic contacts
- Rolling gate magnetic contacts
- Bolt switch contacts
- Concealed/open cable transitions
A magnetic contact is an automatic detector for monitoring doors, windows or other moving parts. It consists of one or more reed contacts and a permanent magnet. In case of unauthorised opening, the reed contact also opens because the magnet is removed (the magnetic field is changed) and interrupts the detector group. This event is reported in the system, in different ways according to the configuration.
