Interfaces from Hazard Management to Other Disciplines

The following overview shows the proprietary solutions available from primion. Before selecting a system hardware, please check its topicality and availability on the market.

All interfaces at a glance

Alternatively, many manufacturers offer connections via standardised protocols such as OPC (UA or DCOM), Bacnet or similar. For this purpose, the manufacturer provides an OPC server, for example, which implements the communication level together with the OPC client of the pSM.

Interface to emergency call service control centres

Optimised for DIN EN 50518-2

Ideally, the hazard management system has VdS approval according to VdS 3534 to confirm conformity with the current testing principles of DIN EN 50518-2 (alarm receiving stations AES). At the same time, the quality, reliability and security of the software is certified to the operator by an independent institution. This not only increases investment security, but also optimally prepares the GMS for certified use in European and national emergency call and service centres (NSL).

Video surveillance interface

This interface enables the integration and bidirectional communication of video management systems and CCTV cameras in the pSM hazard management system.
In recent years, well-known camera manufacturers have significantly increased the equipment of their cameras with an ONVIF interface. This creates freedom of choice for you as well as interchangeability between the different manufacturers for integration in pSM.

Interface Mobile Client

Android and iOS as "state of the art" operating systems in communication media such as tablet PC (iPad) or mobile (i)phone keep the operator and, if necessary, security guard company constantly up to date in the mobile client. In the "Mobile Client" WebApp in primion's pSM, functionality, user interface and menu navigation are adapted to the specifications of iOS or Android, as well as to the size of the displays. This opens up completely new possibilities with regard to:

  • Maintenance, operation and service of technical equipment
  • Intervention, catalogue of measures, automation of management tasks
  • Fault verification and management
  • Quick overview of building status and operational monitoring
  • Alarm verification through video surveillance

Thanks to Mobile Client, maintenance work on fire alarm systems can be reduced to a quasi "one-man inspection". In the event of an intrusion, the alarm situation can be verified in the Mobile Client by means of a CCTV live stream from the danger area. For example, emergency personnel are specifically authorised for on-site access to the video system, whereby the preliminary assessment of the dangerous situation and any necessary follow-up measures can be initiated.

Further possible applications arise in the facility management of geographically widely distributed buildings. Mobile information about malfunctions is distributed "on the fly" to the facility staff. In this way, an optimal, resource-optimised deployment planning of available forces is achieved.
