There is also a Workflow Access control function where designated security supervisors can view and process requests for extended access rights. Which requests are shown is determined by the supervisor's database access rights plus a number of freely selectable checkboxes.

Using the Workflow Access control function, employees can request an extension to their normal access control rights to enable him, for example, to request access rights at a particular location such as a branch office or subsidiary company ahead of a planned visit.

The designated security supervisor(s) can then approve this request if it is OK, also using the Workflow module. The employee is informed automatically by e-mail and the whole process runs efficiently and with the minimum of administrative overheads.
