The awarding of the Baden-Württemberg Innovation Prize to primion Technology AG (then known as AZS Datentechnik GmbH), just one year after the company's founding, heralded the start of the company's success story, the like of which is seldom found elsewhere. The walls of the corridors of power at the company today, are papered with numerous certificates, charting the company's success story.

primion was the first company in the world to be given Class C Certification for its IDT6 Access control panel by the VdS, Germany's prestigious Insurance Institute. In the same year, the company was given ISO 9001 Certification and since then, primion's systems have also been certified by the BSI, the German Federal Office for Information Security.

The latest Certification to be added to primion's already impressive list is the SAP NetWeaver TM Certificate for the portal-based application solution "Portal Integrated Time & Attendance and Access Control". The development of web-based Enterprise Applications, Information Systems and Services are at the heart of the development work, currently occupying the R&D Team at primion.
